Founded by Astrid B Carlson in 2024, ABC connects Sterling Ranch neighbors with reliable, high-quality local providers through personal recommendations and genuine relationships. Every business featured in this website has been personally met and vetted by Astrid.
Astrid has led and managed the Sterling Ranch Community Facebook page for over five years, fostering a safe space where neighbors connect, share resources, and support one another. Astrid is also a Google Maps Local Guide (Level 5), helping residents discover and support trusted local businesses.

I’m Astrid Badia Carlson, founder of Astrid’s Best Connections. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I bring a bilingual background and genuine love for connecting people and businesses.
I hold a degree in accounting and began my career as a federal auditor in Washington, D.C., later working as a real estate agent in Virginia. For the past 17 years, I’ve called Highlands Ranch and Sterling Ranch home.
Today, I help neighbors connect with trusted professionals while supporting small, family-owned businesses. I am building lasting relationships that strengthen our community–one connection at a time.
